Matthew 2

The Magi knew the Scripture to quote to Herod about the Christ to be born. In this chapter it states 4 prophecies from the Old Testament that have been fulfilled and 3 of them relating to the birth of Christ. It cannot be coincidence that so many documented prophecies were fulfilled at the birth of God's Son. How can a baby determine where he will be born? 'Bethlehem, ... out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.' God's plan for redemption was always there.
